Synergy WorldWide Founder and CEO Dan Higginson knows the power of good health for a happy life. While on a mission of service in the rugged four-corners country of the American Southwest, Dan fell ill and was nursed back to health by a compassionate local family.

From then on Dan knew what his life’s work would be—to build a company that helps people everywhere attain better health, grow more prosperous, and support communities in need. In 1999 Dan and some friends founded Synergy WorldWide—and his life’s work began. Dan chose the name “Synergy” because it best exemplified his vision of unity and demonstrated how people working together can make the whole stronger than the individual.

The company’s iconic symbol—arms clasping together to form a circle—represents Synergy’s core principle of achieving strength through cooperation. As the company expands throughout the world, people everywhere are benefiting from the Synergy opportunity and improving their lives.

To share his vision, Dan took a bold risk and decided to launch the new company in Japan, the most difficult network marketing arena in the world. Synergy thrived. Following Japan, the company opened its Taiwan market, where it also achieved great success. Synergy’s next step was to open its U.S. market, and the company has achieved outstanding success in a few short years. With the addition of talented new distributors, exciting new products, and experienced leadership, tremendous growth in the U.S. market is virtually guaranteed.

Another important milestone in Synergy’s history took place when Nature’s Sunshine Products joined forces with Synergy. One of the most highly respected companies in the herbal-health industry, Nature’s Sunshine is a debt-free and publicly traded giant that has garnered many awards for its outstanding corporate citizenship and quality of its products. The momentum of NSP and Synergy coming together created a powerful business opportunity without the associated risk.
